Ink, pastel grounds, acrylic and soft pastel on canvas paper
The woman inside this triangle has contorted herself like a spynx queen in a pyramid. This pieces is one of two in the series playing with patterns. Because the pattern is busier, I purposely put this one on a calming and simple blue background, and the painting of the woman itself is made up of easy abstract shapes. Her face is to the middle right of the image and her legs are both folded on the left side of the triangle.
Please note:
All pieces are sprayed with fixatif before shipping to preserve color and quality over time. However, pastel is a delicate little flower and is susceptible to smudging so it is best not to touch the painting anywhere but on the edges.
All works come packaged as shown in the last image. The piece will be wrapped in a piece of colored tissue paper and shipped within a plastic sleeve. They come with a branding sticker and a ribbon in order to be presented nicely for gifting!
Shipping is a flat rate of $10. All orders will be shipped on December 5th, 2025.
If you are local, please select local pickup when paying, and you won’t be charged for shipping. Porch pickup will be available any time after December 4th from my house in SE Grand Rapids.
