Ink, pastel grounds, acrylic and soft pastel on canvas paper

While doing this project, I got very fixated on her and ended up doing multiple versions in different color palettes. There is something that really calms the eye by the way her shoulder leaning forward forms a triangle. In this one I stuck with calming violets against a bright blue background with creamy neon orange highlights.

Please note:

  1. All pieces are sprayed with fixatif before shipping to preserve color and quality over time. However, pastel is a delicate little flower and is susceptible to smudging so it is best not to touch the painting anywhere but on the edges.

  2. All works come packaged as shown in the last image. The piece will be wrapped in a piece of colored tissue paper and shipped within a plastic sleeve. They come with a branding sticker and a ribbon in order to be presented nicely for gifting!

  3. Shipping is a flat rate of $10. All orders will be shipped on December 5th, 2025.

  4. If you are local, please select local pickup when paying, and you won’t be charged for shipping. Porch pickup will be available any time after December 4th from my house in SE Grand Rapids.
