Ink, pastel grounds, acrylic and soft pastel on canvas paper
I played with letting the background do the talking for this lovely neon lady. Unlike many of my pieces, I did give her a face, although it is abstract, you can still see that she is gazing confidently back at the viewer. Her color palette is a vibrant blue background with an eggplant and periwinkle background and highlights of creamy neon orange.
Please note:
All pieces are sprayed with fixatif before shipping to preserve color and quality over time. However, pastel is a delicate little flower and is susceptible to smudging so it is best not to touch the painting anywhere but on the edges.
All works come packaged as shown in the last image. The piece will be wrapped in a piece of colored tissue paper and shipped within a plastic sleeve. They come with a branding sticker and a ribbon in order to be presented nicely for gifting!
Shipping is a flat rate of $10. All orders will be shipped on December 5th, 2025.
If you are local, please select local pickup when paying, and you won’t be charged for shipping. Porch pickup will be available any time after December 4th from my house in SE Grand Rapids.
